Periodic meeting of the Coalition’s components
A coordination meeting of the Coalition’s components to review the work plan and discuss the priorities of the coming period.
- Saturday 26 September 2026
- 17:00 Central European Time
- Frankfurt, Germany
The Eritrean National Democratic Coalition is holding the periodic meeting of its components in Frankfurt, to review what has been achieved of the work plan over the past period and to agree on the priorities of the coming stage and how they will be carried out.
The periodic meeting is the mechanism through which the Coalition reviews its work at regular intervals: each committee presents what it has achieved, the obstacles it has faced are discussed, and priorities are reordered in the light of new developments. It is first and foremost an internal organisational meeting, but it is open to the representatives of the components and to invited observers.
Themes of the meeting
- Reviewing the work plan: assessing what has been achieved of the adopted plan, and identifying the items that have fallen behind and why.
- Priorities for the coming period: agreeing a specific, measurable list of priorities for the period ahead.
- Coordination between the components: improving communication and the division of tasks between the Coalition’s components and its committees.
- Work in the diaspora: coordinating the activity of Eritrean communities and unifying the messages addressed to public opinion.
Who may attend
Attendance is by prior registration, with priority given to the representatives of the components and the working committees. A limited number of seats is also available to interested members of the community and to observers, subject to the capacity of the hall.
- Representatives of the Coalition’s components and its working committees.
- Invited independent national figures.
- A limited number of members of the Eritrean community in Germany, by prior registration.
Periodic meetings are not ceremonial occasions; they are where decisions are reviewed and courses are corrected. Their value is measured by the specific commitments that come out of them, not by the number of people in the room.
Language of the meeting
Sessions are conducted in Arabic, with simultaneous interpretation into Tigrinya. Participants may make their contributions in either language.
