Eritrean National Democratic Coalition
A national alliance that brings Eritrea’s forces and constituent groups together on common ground — for peaceful democratic change, for the rule of law, and for the dignity of the Eritrean people and the unity of their land.
The Eritrean National Democratic Coalition works to unite national efforts within a pluralist democratic framework — one that safeguards diversity, preserves unity, and lays the foundation fora state of institutions and equal citizenshipin which all stand equal before the law.
The principles we struggle for
Unifying goals that form the common ground shared by the Coalition’s components.
Rule of law and justice
A state governed by its institutions, where citizens stand equal before a just law that guarantees rights and freedoms.
National unity
The unity of the people and the land, built on equal citizenship and respect for religious and cultural diversity.
Human rights
Protecting human dignity and fundamental freedoms, freeing detainees, and ending every form of oppression.
Peaceful democratic change

For a homeland wide enough for all
We begin from a firm conviction that Eritrea’s future will be built by the agreement of all its people, on a foundation of national partnership and mutual respect. The Coalition seeks to build a national democratic alternative capable of leading the period of change and laying the pillars of a state governed by law.
- An inclusive framework for Eritrea’s national forces and constituent groups.
- Transparent institutional work grounded in dialogue and consensus.
- Openness to every sincere effort in support of change.
Our mission
To unite national energies within a single democratic project that restores to the Eritrean people their right to determine their own future, and safeguards their unity, their dignity, and the sovereignty of their homeland.
“Unity of the national will is the road to a free, just and democratic Eritrea.”
